The Great Depression affected not only The United States, but also other countries that relied on us. Germany for example, relied on the loans that The United States was giving them. The United States was a big part of Germany economical success. America aided Germany in their debt. Germany had much debt from World War l, so when The United State’s stock market crashed, it affected Germany greatly. Also, The Federal Reserve raised taxes on goods from foreign countries. This stopped foreign countries from getting money from The United States, and also helped Hitler take power. The Great Depression affected Germany greatly.
